Women's Mental Health
Dr. Eden offers several modalities of treatment including medication management and psychotherapy. As part of a consultation, Dr. Eden will create an individualized treatment plan that is informed by the most up-to-date research.
Dr. Eden treats a variety of psychiatric conditions including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and PTSD that impact an individual's ability to function and feel well. Through psychotherapy, patients learn to navigate difficulties in interpersonal relationships, major life/role changes, and identity struggles.
Dr. Eden specializes in working with individuals dealing with a range of reproductive experiences. These include perinatal/postpartum depression and anxiety, perinatal OCD, intergenerational dynamics of mothering, identity changes in motherhood, miscarriage, infant loss, infertility, IVF, and birth trauma.
She offers longitudinal treatment as well as consultation for patients who have existing mental health treatment but would benefit from an expert opinion on how to remain well during pregnancy and the postpartum.
Psychotherapy

Dr. Eden practices psychodynamic, supportive, cognitive-behavioral, dialectic-behavioral, maternal-infant dyadic, and transference-focused psychotherapies. She works primarily within a psychodynamic framework and integrates additional treatment modalities as indicated.
Psychopharmacology

As part of a comprehensive approach, Dr. Eden will evaluate the potential utility, safety, and efficacy of using medication to help reduce suffering.
She has particular expertise in managing and assessing the compatibility of medication use during pregnancy and with lactation.
Reproductive and Perinatal Care

Dr. Eden offers comprehensive care throughout the peripartum that is specifically tailored to each individual patient.
She treats a wide array of reproductive experiences such as mood and anxiety disorders during pregnancy and the postpartum, reproductive traumas, and pregnancy following struggles with infertility.
Women's Mental Health

Dr. Eden works with women to address a range of challenges including mood and anxiety disorders, PTSD, changes in mood related to the menstrual cycle, PMDD, body image issues and eating disorders, and ADHD among other conditions. An initial consultation includes an individualized assessment of a woman's well-being, including sleep optimization, stress management, mindfulness, and nutrition/exercise.
Perinatal Consultation

Dr. Eden meets with patients in consultation who would like to optimize their mental health prior to conceiving, during pregnancy, and in the postpartum. She will work with you, and any existing providers, to offer expert opinion and plan for the peripartum.
Anticipatory Guidance

Dr. Eden will work with you to address and plan for the postpartum and entry into parenthood. This typically includes psychoeducation on infant and parent sleep optimization, infant attachment and bonding, and individualized planning around infant feeding. For many patients, this is an opportunity to involve partners in conversations on how best to support the entire family unit.
